The basics
Cost, payment, timelines and what we need from you.
Back to topicsHow much will it cost?
It depends on what you need, so we don't publish a price list. After a free 15-minute call we send a written plan with one price for the whole job. That price doesn't change unless you ask us to add something.
How do payments work?
We invoice through Wise, so in most countries you can pay in your own currency. A deposit books your start date and isn't refundable, and the rest is due as your written plan sets out.
How long does it take?
A landing page takes about two weeks and a full website two to three. A Shopify store takes two weeks on a ready-made theme, or four to six if it's designed from scratch. Your plan has a date for every step.
I'm not techy. Is that a problem?
No. Most of the owners we work with aren't. We do the setup and the settings, and explain what you need to know without jargon. Your part is telling us about your business and your customers.
Do I have to write the words?
No. We ask you about your business on a call and write the words ourselves. You read them, mark anything that doesn't sound like you, and we change it.
Where are you based?
We're a small team in India, working with businesses all over the world by video call, email and WhatsApp. We'll find call times that suit your time zone.
Websites & landing pages
What you need before you start, and how long it takes.
Back to topicsWhat's the difference between a landing page and a website?
A landing page is one page with one goal, like getting calls for a single service or bookings for an event. A website has several pages and covers the whole business. Plenty of people start with a landing page and grow it into a site later.
Do I need a website before I get a landing page?
No. A landing page works on its own, on your own web address. If you already have a site, we can add the page to it or link the two together.
How long does a website take?
About two weeks for a landing page, and two to three for a website of up to five or so pages. The clock starts once we have your details and photos.
Can I edit my website myself?
We build in code rather than a drag-and-drop builder, which is why the sites are fast. Small edits are free for 30 days after launch, and after that we make changes for you. If you'll update something every week, tell us on the call and we'll plan for it.
Do I need a logo before a website?
It helps, but it isn't a must. With the logo done first, the website, signature and ads all start from the same look, which is why a lot of people do it in that order.
Shopify stores
Ready-made themes, custom themes and what Shopify charges.
Back to topicsReady-made theme or custom theme: which do I need?
If you want to start selling soon and your products do the talking, a ready-made theme is plenty. If the look of the shop is part of what you sell, go custom. We'll tell you honestly on the call, even if it's the cheaper option.
What's a Shopify theme, exactly?
A theme is the design of your shop: where the photos, words and buttons sit on each page. Good ready-made themes are used by thousands of shops because they work. Yours gets your colours, logo and products, so it still looks like you.
Won't my shop look like everyone else's?
Less than you'd think. Your photos, colours and words do most of the work. If you want a look that's all yours later on, we can design a custom theme for the same shop.
What does 'custom theme' actually mean?
The theme is the design of your shop. Custom means we design every page for your brand first, you approve it, and then we build that exact design on Shopify. You're not starting from a layout somebody else made.
Do I pay Shopify as well?
Yes. Shopify charges a monthly plan, paid to them directly, plus a small fee on card payments. Paid apps cost extra too. We list every one of these costs in your plan before you agree to anything.
Can you move my shop from Etsy, Wix or WooCommerce?
Yes. We move your products, photos and descriptions across, and point your old website's links to the new pages where the platform allows it.
Logos & design
Logos, email signatures and ad banners.
Back to topicsCan you work with a logo I already have?
Yes. We can tidy it up, redraw it so it's sharp at every size, or use it as it is for your signature and ads.
What if I don't like any of the logo ideas?
Tell us why, and we'll sketch again. It happens, and it usually makes the next round much better.
Do I own the logo?
Yes. Once it's paid for, the logo and every file are yours to use anywhere, for as long as you like.
What files do I get?
Everything you'll need: files for print, for the web and for social media, plus the originals. Yours to keep and use anywhere.
Will my email signature work in my email app?
Yes. We build it and test it in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail, on computers and on phones.
Do you run the ads too?
We design them, ready to upload. If you'd like help setting up the campaign itself, ask us on the call.
AI ads & automation
AI video ads, workflows and chatbots.
Back to topicsWhat are AI UGC ads?
Short video ads of a presenter talking to camera about your product, in the style of a creator's phone video. The presenter is made with AI, so there's no one to cast and no shoot to book.
Are AI UGC ads honest?
Ours are. We write the scripts ourselves, presenters never pretend to be real customers, and we don't put claims in their mouths your product can't back up. We never use a real person's face or voice without their written permission.
Can I use the AI ads anywhere?
Yes. Once they're paid for, you can run them on any platform for as long as you like. The presenters come from licensed AI tools, so the same face may turn up in other brands' ads.
Workflow automation or a chatbot: which do I need?
If the job is copying things between places, like forms, spreadsheets and emails, you want workflow automation. If it's answering the same questions from customers, you want a chatbot. Plenty of people end up with both.
Do I need to use specific software?
No. We work with what you already use, like Gmail or Outlook, Google Sheets or Excel, and your booking system. We only suggest something new if it saves you real trouble.
Will a chatbot sound robotic?
No. We write its replies with you, the way you'd actually say things. It also says plainly that it's an automatic reply, so nobody feels tricked.
Can a real person take over from the chatbot?
Yes. It hands over whenever it's unsure or someone asks for a human, and you can jump into any chat yourself.
After launch
Changes, ownership and running costs.
Back to topicsWhat happens after launch?
You get 30 days of free small changes, like new text, a swapped photo or a changed setting. Bigger jobs, and anything after the 30 days, are billed by the hour. Either way, you just send us a message.
What if I need changes later?
Send us a message. Small changes are free for the first 30 days. After that, and for bigger jobs like a new page, we either quote the work or bill it by the hour, and we tell you which before we start.
Who owns the website?
You do, once it's paid for: the design, the words and the code. We keep the code in our own repository so we can make changes quickly, and you can have a full copy whenever you ask.
What will it cost to keep running?
Some things run on other companies' services, like hosting, your domain, Shopify, apps or WhatsApp messages. Those are billed to you by them. We list every one in your plan, so nothing turns up later.
Can I add products to my Shopify store myself?
Yes. We show you how on a short call once the shop is live. Adding a product takes a few minutes, a bit like posting on Instagram.
What if an automation goes wrong?
You get an alert, and so do we. Fixes are free for the first 30 days after launch, and after that we fix things by the hour.
